Rain Nelson

After years of mixing drinks for friends and family, in 2018 Rain decided to pursue a certification in bartending. Upon completion, she started her mobile bartending business and named it Rain’s 5K Drinks. Rain started with five drinks; Side Chick, Shades of Blue, U Needed Me, U Drive Me Crazy, Savage, and Bad B****. Today, they are still crowd favorites.

Her first products were adult pouches and through social media and word of mouth business took off. And she expanded to include slushies. Wanting to solidify her understanding of the art of bartending, Rain worked in a few local bars. Eventually, she decided to pursue entrepreneurship so she could spend more time with her five children.

Today, she creates custom beverages themed to fit the event and guest of honor. Rain is the bartender of choice for intimate and large-scale events. Her repertoire includes a range of alcoholic beverages as well as mocktails and slushies fit for any palette. Rain creates beautiful tablescapes using her famous cocktails and frequently adds custom toppers and drink tags. She is well-versed in current trends and is excited to help you wow your guests’ five senses. Escape to the tropics with every sip!
